This artwork is inspired by Killers of the Flower Moon, particularly Lily Gladstone’s remarkable portrayal of Mollie Burkhardt. I aimed to capture the juxtaposition between the betrayal, injustice, darkness she endures - and the unwavering loyalty and love she holds. This is symbolised through the beauty of the flowers and the tear in her eye, reflecting both her pain and enduring strength.
